#SouthofSurrender is Wet and Wild! #WildHop #EarlyReviews

Welcome to the Wet and Wild Blog Hop! Thanks to Skye Warren for organizing!

I'm celebrating the release of my 10th novel, South of Surrender, the wildest book in my Hearts of the Anemoi series. Here's what the early reviews are saying:

Stephanie, Fangs, Wands, and Fairy Dust, Pick of the Week!: "Heartwarming and heart-wrenching; in South of Surrender, as always, Laura Kaye writes with her heart....While reading North of Need and West of Want would have you chomping at the bit for South of Surrender, it is a book that stands well on its own. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SOUTH OF SURRENDER as a MUST READ for any lover of Paranormal Romance."

Michel, Hesperia Loves Books, 5/5 Stars!: "Laura has delivered a book that is not only a superb romance, but adds sizzling sexual tension, erotic love scenes, emotional scenes, suspense, intrigue, humor, and a smooth flow to the story. I highly recommend this series!"

Jillian, Read-Love-Blog, 5/5 Loves!: "This, so far, is officially my favorite book in the series. Loved, loved, LOVED!...This story was told with such feeling and description that I honestly felt what Chrys and Laney were going through....this story has everything I love in a book - I laughed, I had white-knuckled-ereader-gripping moments and I also cried...a lot. To me, that's what a great story does for a reader...takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. South of Surrender was that, and more."

Yvette, Nose Stuck in a Book, 5/5 Stars!: "As an author, Kaye has an amazing ability to create sympathetic protagonists who are adorably sentimental and unbelievably passionate....In all of the books I've read by Laura, she's proven herself to be especially adept at penning steamy romance, scenes, which are perfectly engineered for the specifications of each burgeoning couple. What I didn't expect were the elements of action dominating the final chapters of South of Surrender, demonstrating Kaye's talent for building suspense that left me with bitten fingernails and an impatient need to find out what happens in the fourth and final installment of the series."

DaVinciKittie, GraveTells, 4.5/5 Stars and a MUST-READ!: "Sweeping and unexpectedly poignant, South of Surrender is a pivotal chapter in the Hearts of the Anemoi saga. Chrysander is everything I hoped he would be and more, deeper in mind and spirit, and his lady is the perfect compliment. This is a "must read" for any fan of paranormal romance....a story that will break your heart and leave you wanting more, more, more!"

The definition of wild is probably in the eye of the reader. LOL! I finally read most of the Sweet series by Maya Banks and couldn't possibly pick one book over another for the most wild.

Hmm, wildest book I've read lately? Probably The Bikini Diaries by Lexi Alexander. That woman can write some seriously hot sex (with plot!).

I guess Heart of Iron by Bec McMaster. I have been dabbling in romance until some new releases that I have been waiting on drop.

i know my answer will be a bit controversial, by STRINGS by kendall grey. read it yesterday, and it is a very trashy, filthy, and hot read (in all the right ways). and i know alot of people are gonna say, haven't you heard what she said on bla-bla-bla, and my answer is, i don't give a flying *f* what she says, as long as she continues to bring the naughty, i'm good.
thanks for taking part in the blog hop, and for the contest/giveaway :)

Lately my books have been pretty tame because I've been catching up on a few YA books that I've had on the shelf (or in the Kindle) a bit too long but I did just start Angels' Blood so that might have a bit of steam going for it! I'm not very far into it yet so we shall see. I can't recall before that (my memory is like that of a Goldfish lately I think, dang this aging thing).

Have a great day one and all,

Wildest? Well by traditional standards probably The Angel by Tiffany Reisz, but I LOVED and connected with that book so much that it didn't really seem an outlandish read. More honestly probably something boring but slightly outside my typical reading style like Frankenstein by Mary Shelley.

Wow that's a tough one...The books I've read lately haven't been that wild. I've read Cherry Adair's Lodestone series and that was an RENTLESS adventure. I just finished Lora Leigh's "The Men of August" series and that was an erotic suspense filled adventure. Then there was my favorite Hannah Howell's IF HE'S TEMPTED which is an awesome lite paranormal historical romance series. I'm really looking forward to Jennifer Ashley's TIGER MAGIC in a few weeks ;-)
