Brady reached out, then quickly withdrew his hand and lifted his gaze to hers.
Joss pulled his hand back and placed it on her no-longer-flat belly.
Awe. Sheer and total. It was the only word he had for the emotions that flooded through him as he touched her for the first time in months and his child for the first time ever.
He looked into Joss’s bright-green eyes and so many things competed to be said at once that he said nothing at all.
