Happy Sunday everyone! I'm excited to report that WEST OF WANT has released almost everywhere (just waiting on the NookBook - come ooooon B&N!)! Woot! Now, here we pick back up with Ella as she has given in to the temptation to check out Zeph as he rests in her room...
Zephyros was sprawled on his stomach across more than half the bed, his massive shoulders and arms curled around a mound of pillows. Even in rest, his thick muscles appeared ready to spring.Ella tiptoed closer, holding her breath as the floorboards creaked here and there.In sleep, the harsh contours of his face relaxed, casting a peacefulness over his features that wasn’t there when he was awake. That he apparently carried around some heavy unnamed burden made her heart squeeze. Sleep provided escape for her, too—when she could manage to quiet her heart and mind enough to actually nod off.

Lovely descriptions... not only of the way he looks but of how she feels. The bit at the end about not sleeping well really offers a glimpse into her character. Great six!!
