#SixSunday #43 - The #Vampire King Makes a Mistake #NewRelease!

I'm very excited to share six sentences from In the Service of the King, because it releases in just 3 days! Woot! Let's dive right in, shall we?
Dread slid like ice down his spine. He reached out and eased the mask up and off her eyes. The strap on one side tangled in a braid and pulled it loose. A white flower fluttered down into her lap.

Her eyes, so beautiful, so expressive, told him how badly he’d messed up.

What have I done?

The new release book tour for In the Service of the King starts tomorrow - join in the sexy vampire fun! :)

Be sure to check out the Other Sixers' Posts and follow the #sixsunday hashtag on Twitter! Thanks for reading and, hopefully, commenting, too!

Okay, I gotta read this one too! I love your writing style. It flows so beautifully. I'm reading North of Need now, and am really enjoying it. You write so well.

Oh dear, he's messed up? Does that mean there's groveling in his future? Oh please say yes :)

Love the sense of dread he has as he pulls the mask off. The image of him pulling her hair and the flower askew foretelling that he's screwed up even more badly is lovely. Great six!

Loved the emotion in this snippet :-)

oh wow, great imagery, I could really feel his dread and you did the unmasking in such a nice, slow way where I could just feel him slowly doing it, dreading what he'd see...
