#SixSunday #35 Owen's Achilles Moment #PNR

Happy Sunday! I've got another six sentences for you from NORTH OF NEED, Book 1 in my contemporary fantasy romance series, Hearts of the Anemoi. If you’ve heard of Achilles before, you’ll understand when I say this is snow god Owen’s Achilles moment.
Against the protests of his muscles, Owen loaded her ski equipment into the trunk and dragged himself in behind the wheel.
His body weighed a thousand pounds. With sluggish, imprecise movements, he turned the ignition and backed the Jeep out of the space.
No way he was going to be able to drive like this. He threw the truck into park and shoved his shoulder against the door.
It swung open, and Owen’s body tumbled out onto the snowy ground.
Check out North of Need on Amazon, where the book recently made two bestseller lists for Futuristic and Fantasy Romance, and hit a Top 10 position on two Hot New Releases lists! Click here to learn how to win North of Need.

Great pace painting this scene and getting the feeling of the pain in his shoulder. Great six.
