Fourth of July Memory: I always have to work, so no exciting trip memories, but I moved into my current apt 3 yrs ago on the fourth of July weekend. It was a great time to move because I got to meet a ton of my neighbors that same weekend, as we all came out to watch the fireworks. It was a great welcome.

Favorite 4th of July memory: Neither of my kids actually likes fireworks so last year we took them to see Toy Story 3 at the movie theater (something we never do). The place was empty and we had our own private showing they could move or talk and didn't disturb anyone. We had also bought a bucket of popcorn and because it was so dead they gave each of our boys their own popcorn so they felt extra special. It was nice family time for us.

A few years ago we were lighting off fireworks in the street. Well my uncle had a brown paper bag full of bottle rockets. He decided that it would be cool to light the bag on fire with all of the rockets inside. They went everywhere! We were running away from them so we didn't get hit.

I am from Canada, so I have a Canada Day (July 1st) memory.
July 1st, 1994 was the day our Son rolled over from his back to his tummy for the first time.
We were at the beach and he was laying on his back. We watched as he rolled himself for the first time! It was a great experience for a first time Mum and Dad.
